Melvin Stamper, son of the late William H. and Henrietta Stamper was born on July 11, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Melvin was educated through the Baltimore City Public School System.
Melvin was a hard worker and he loved to work with his hands. Melvin enjoyed doing construction work, laying bricks and pouring cement. He also worked for White and Turner.
Melvin was outgoing and was a classy dresser, he would match his attire from head to toe.
Melvin loved his family eventhough he had a peculiar way of showing it, he would make his presence known.
Melvin, a nice son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, father and friend will be missed.
Melvin was preceded in death by his son, Melvin Stamper, Jr.; daughter, robin Coley; great-granddaughter, keshia Stamper; grandson, Daryl Stewart; great-grandson, Daryl Stewart iii; brother, Maurice Stamper; sisters, estelle Simms, Devon Chase, Thelma lee, Willettea robinson and Juanita Boyd.
Melvin leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Denise Stamper; devoted daughter, kim easley-Stamper; sons, Barry Stamper, richard Monroe, kenneth Coley and Bernard Morris; one brother, William H. Stamper, Jr.; fifty-three (53) grandchildren, six (6) great-grandchildren; one son-in- law, larry easley; devoted, caring and exceptional friends, Pam Daring and Sonny; a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
