Sean Horton Obituary

To know Sean, you know he didn't half-step. My son could have written a book about his life. He lived it with dignity and finished it with courage. Sean, you loved with your whole heart and
you lived your life so well.
--- Love, Mommy
Sean Michael Horton was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Robert Horton and Sharon Akins on July 5, 1979. Sean departed this life on February 25, 2021.
Sean received his education in the Baltimore City school system. Sean enjoyed exploring and working in a variety of fields, and he held multiple jobs throughout his lifetime.
Sean was a loving and kind-hearted man. He dedicated his life to caring for and protecting his family, and that dedication extended to friends lucky enough to be considered by him as “family”. Sean was also a steady and reliable friend, and he had several long-term friendships that lasted more than 25 years.
What up big bro, Man I still don’t believe It’s true/ How a coward could do something so negative to a Special person like You/ Had to do this for You to let You know that we all care and are hurt/ Blood brothers, we shared the same pain, Mother and voice since birth/ Trying to stay strong maintain and hold my head/ and I know You know what I mean when I say my heart is heavy as lead / Want to let You know that your memory will forever live In our Hearts/ And pain was felt in the city and In the Family on all parts/ So we all Mourn and will definitely miss a Real Friend/ And I will have a better understanding of the reason
Sean wasn’t afraid to share what was in his heart or what was on his mind, sometimes giving us a mixture of advice, jokes and lectures. He was a caretaker at heart. Sean was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, and we knew we could always depend on him, wherever and whenever. We never doubted how much he loved all of us.
His brother, Matthew Williams, preceded him in death.
Sean Michael Horton was deeply loved and will be forever missed by: his father Robert Horton; his beloved mother Sharon Akins; his beloved children Sean, Jr., Rasheed, and Sydnei; his beloved granddaughter Madison; his brothers Kenneth (Dawn), Brian, David, Anthony and Mark; his sisters Carla and Michelle; his stepsister Freda; his nephews Lamar, Diquan, Davon, Tijuan, Juanye, Langston and Khazion; his nieces Nayshonn, Dawnea, Tianna, Shenneria, Dejah, Miracle, Javonna, Taylor and Kamiya; several beloved great-nieces and great-nephews; and numerous family and friends.
